ExcelSMS is the most efficient way to send text messages imported from an excel file. You can input who the message is to (destination number / recipient) and static or personalized message content on your spreadsheet. You no longer need to type your messages and select your recipients on your iPhone.
ExcelSMS is also the easier way to send text messages to groups. Using sms templates feature , you can reuse often-used text messages. You can import/export your sms templates from/to an excel file.
With ExcelSMS you can :
★ Import group sms from an excel file via USB/WiFi/Email.
★ Insert the tags ({nickname},{firstname},{lastname},{nickname},{company} etc) in your text message in order to create personalized message. When you use this, all the message will have a personal look and feel. For example:
Dear {firstname}, Welcome to our dinner party.
★ Save group sms you send to an excel file. Using this file you can send this message again.
★ Use MS Excel 2003 / 2007 / 2010 , OpenOffice.org , Apple Numbers or any other Excel-compatible application to type your group text messages. Be sure to save as an Excel 97-2003 Workbook.
★ Export an excel template of all contacts , you can use this template to create your own excel file.
★ Send SMS to as many numbers as you need within your Excel file
★ Limit the number of recipients per message. The app will split a large message into multiple separate messages.
★ Create a formatted excel file easily. The file can contain only two columns : Mobile and Message. You can find more example spreadsheets on the app’s website.
★ Create more flexible group sms in your spreadsheet. Here’s an example.

IMPORTANT NOTE :
Please check the setting of "Group Messaging" on the iPhone settings. If the option is available, set it to OFF (yes OFF) to be able to send to large groups. If it's on, the iPhone will try to send MMS instead of SMS and will fail to send to large groups.
